CSM Robert Q. Swift was born in Whittier, CA. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1992 as an 11M Mechanized Infantryman. He has sought positions of increasing responsibility throughout his military career which include Infantry Team Leader to J2 SGM in Iraq. This led to his selection as the Command Sergeant Major for the 83rd United States Army Reserve Readiness Training Center. CSM Swift holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College.
