Master Sergeant Jeffrey Sage is originally from Waterford, MI where he enlisted into the U.S. Army in September of 2001. He is currently the Course Mananger at the Battle Staff NonCommissioned Officer Course. When he is not engaged in the course he enjoyes the outdoors amongst many other hobbies with his wife Ashley, and his two children Colton (14) and Emalyn (12).
MSG Sage was first assigned to Bravo Co 1-50 at Fort Benning, GA as an Infantry Recruit. He was later assigned to Bravo Co 1-504 PIR/1st BDE/82nd ABN DIV at Fort Bragg, NC. MSG Sage has since served with the 3-339th IN/RTC-C as a small arms instructor and Observer, Coach / Trainer. NCOA Ft. McCoy Warrior Leader Course facilitator and Senior Facilitator. MSG Sage’s military schools include Airborne Course, Warrior Leaders Course, Basic NCO Course Common Core, Infantryman Advanced Course; Maneuver Senior Leaders Course Phase I and II; Master Leaders Course; Army Basic Instructors Course; Battle Staff NCO Course; Basic Combative Course; Tactical Combative Course.
MSG Sage is awarded the Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Master Infantry Badge, Basic Army Instructor Badge, Basic Airborne Badge and the Recruiter Badge. His many achievements include: the Meritorious Service Medal, 1st OLC; Army Accommodation Medal, 5th OLC; the Army Achievement Medal 5th OLC; the Armed Forces Reserve Medal w/ Silver Hourglass; the Army Good Conduct Medal 6 bronze clasps; the NCO Professional Development Ribbon w/ numeral 5; Overseas service bar and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal; Army Valorous Unit Award.
