Brig. Gen. Ryan C. McDavitt

Deputy Commanding General (Support), 81st Readiness Division

Brigadier General Ryan C. McDavitt assumed the duties as the Deputy Commanding General (Support) for the 81st Readiness Division, U.S. Army Reserve, Fort Jackson, S.C. on March 27, 2025, after most recently serving as the Commander of the 207th Regional Support Group, Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

Brigadier General McDavitt was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers upon graduation from James Madison University in 1997. Additional military schooling and education includes Airborne School, Engineer Officer Basic Course, Engineer Officer Advanced Course, Combined Arms Services Staff School, Advanced Joint Professional Military Education, Command and General Staff College, and the U.S. Army War College.
