Brig. Gen. Stephen M. Pazak

Commanding General, 310th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary)

Brig. Gen. Stephen M. Pazak serves as the Commanding General of the 310th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Brig. Gen. Pazak is responsible for sustainment operations for a one-star command that provides oversight of manning, equipping, and training for six subordinate O6-level Army Reserve commands covering 13 states and consisting of over 6,000 Soldiers.

Brig. Gen. Pazak was raised in a career Army Family. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Ordnance Corps through Army ROTC.

His leadership positions include serving as the 90th Sustainment Brigade Commander, the 300th Special Troops Battalion Commander, the 2nd Transportation (HET) Company Commander during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Maintenance Troop Commander, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, and 542nd Maintenance Company. His staff
positions include serving Deputy Commanding Officer/Chief of Staff, 143rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), Chief of Staff, 1st Theater Sustainment Command (OCP) during Operation Spartan Shield,

Command Inspector General and Support Operations Supply and Services Branch Chief, 4th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), Executive and Operations Officer, 645th Quartermaster Detachment, Deputy Support Operations and Supply and Services Officer, Regimental Support Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Support Operations Maintenance Officer, 44th Corps Support Battalion, Shop Officer and Executive Officer, 542nd Maintenance Company.

Brig. Gen. Pazak is a graduate of the Air War College, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the Inspector General Basic Course, the Theater Sustainment Course, the Support Operations Course, the Combined Arms and Services Staff School, the Combined Logistics Captains Career Course, the Ordnance Officer Basic Course, and the
Airborne Course. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Studies from the Air War College and a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University.

Brig. Gen. Pazak’s awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal with 4 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Commendation Medal with 3 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with 2 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, the recipient of the Noble Patron of Armor and the
Commission of Kentucky Colonel by former Governor of Kentucky Ernie Fletcher.

A citizen-Soldier, Brig. Gen. Pazak balances his military service with his civilian profession. He is currently the Senior Principal Engineer in the IT Operational Engineering Organization for the Home Depot in Austin, TX.
