Command Sgt. Maj. David R. Sayers

Command Sergeant Major, 364th Expeditionary Sustainment Command

CSM David Sayers was raised in Browning, IL and enlisted in the Army Reserve in 2000. He completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson in 2000 and Advanced Individual Training at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in 2001 as a 63J (Quartermaster and Chemical Repairer). CSM Sayers transitioned to 11B (Infantryman) in 2010.

His civilian education consists of a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His military education includes; the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course, Drill Sergeant School, Drill Sergeant Leader Course, Maneuver Senior Leader Course, Counter-Insurgency Course, Battle Staff NCO, Airborne School, Combatives Level I and II, USARC First Sergeants Course, Enlisted Joint Professional Education 1 and 2, Defense Support of Civilian Authorities Level 1 and 2, the United States Sergeant Majors Academy, Battalion and Brigade Pre Command Courses, Distributed Learning Course VI, Observer Coach / Trainer Course (First Army Academy), JOPES, and Mission Command Digital Master Gunner.
