Command Sgt. Maj. Brian R. Lundy

CSM Brian Lundy, a Utah native, enlisted in the US Army Reserve in February 2002 as a 12B Combat Engineer. SGM Lundy attended One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri during the summer 2002.

CSM Lundy held various assignments at the company, battalion, and division levels, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. SGM Lundy most recently served as the G3 SGM for the 108th Training Command (Initial Entry Training); the G3 SGM for the 416th Theater Engineer Command; Small Group Leader for Battle Staff NCO Course at the Fort McCoy NCO Academy; Operations Sergeant for the 365th Engineer Battalion; Operations Sergeant for HHC, 478th Engineer Battalion; Squad Leader/Recon SGT for 744th Engineer Company; Team Leader for C Co. 458th Engineer Battalion; and Combat Engineer for C Co. 321st Engineer Battalion.

CSM Lundy’s formal military training consists of every NCOPDS commensurate with his rank. In addition, he has attended Joint Engineer Operations Course, Battle Staff NCO Course, Air Assault Course, Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course, Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education Course, and Brigade/Battalion Pre-Command Course.

CSM Lundy holds a Bachelor of Public Administration from Park University in Parkville, Missouri and an associate degree in management from Coastline Community College, California. He is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeant Major Academy Non-Res Class 46.

CSM Lundy’s awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (4 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (3 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (2 OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal (6th Award), Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal (1 OLC), Afghanistan Campaign Medal (2 Bronze Stars), Iraq Campaign Medal (2 Bronze Stars), Armed Forces Reserve Medal (Silver Hourglass, M Device), NCO Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 5), Overseas Service Ribbon, NATO Medal, and Meritorious Unit Citation (1OLC), Combat Action Badge, Air Assault Badge, and Basic Army Instructor Badge. He was awarded the U.S. Army Engineer Regimental Bronze Order of the de Fleury Medal in 2015, and the Silver German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge in 2018.

CSM Lundy is married to Paula June and has four children, Kori (18), Samuel (17), Olivia (4), and Charles (1).
