Command Sgt. Maj. Jenkins currently has 33 years in service, with over 15yrs of active-duty service. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1991 and began his career as a (95B) Military Police Soldier. In 2001 CSM Jenkins left active duty to pursue a career in civilian law enforcement and transitioned into the Active Reserves prior to 9/11 as an Army Reserve Soldier where he has been serving ever since as a (31B/31E).
Command Sergeant Major Jenkins’ previous assignments include serving on active duty as a Military Police Soldier in Hawaii (Schofield Barracks), Korea, Bosnia, Germany, and Fort Benning, Ga. CSM Jenkins has had the opportunity to serve at every level of Military Police Corps from E-1 Private, Gunner, Driver, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Desk Sergeant, SRT Team Leader, Traffic Accident Investigator (Q9), Platoon Sergeant, and Company Operations Sergeant. CSM Jenkins’ leadership responsibilities throughout his career include the following: First Sergeant, 447th Military Police Company (Canton, Ohio - Deployed to Afghanistan); First Sergeant, 428th Military Police Company (South Bend, IN); First Sergeant, 822nd Military Police Company (Arlington Heights, IL); Platoon / Operations Sergeant, 810th Military Police Company (Iraq); Operations Sergeant Major, 300TH Military Police Brigade (Inkster, MI); Command Sergeant Major, 327th Military Police Battalion, (Arlington Heights, IL); Command Sergeant Major, 290th Military Police Brigade (Nashville, TN); Command Sergeant Major, 11th Military Police Brigade (Los Alamitos, CA - 2nd Operational Military Police Brigade assignment).
CSM Jenkins has participated in five mobilizations and operational deployments as a Military Police Soldier to Bosnia/ Kosovo in support of Operation Joint Endeavor; twice, (OEF CONUS Operations); Iraq (OIF OCONUS); Afghanistan (OEF, OCONUS).
CSM Jenkins’ Military education includes Military Police Basic training, Primary Leadership Course (PLDC), MP Basic Noncommissioned Course (BNOC), MP Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer Course (ANCOC), First Sergeants Course, Military Police Special Reaction Course (SRT), Military Police Corrections and Detention Specialist Transition Course (31E), Traffic Accident Investigation Course (Q9), Basic Airborne, Air Assault, BN Pre-Command Course, BDE Command Course, JPME (PH I/PH II), U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA), as well as other numerous military schools.

CSM Jenkins has three children: Ashley (30), Hailey (25) and Jacob (19). CSM Jenkins is currently employed by the Department of Homeland Security in Orlando.
