Command Sgt. Maj. Juddiah G. Mooso

377th Theater Sustainment Command Senior Enlisted Advisor

Command Sergeant Major Judd Mooso currently serves as the senior enlisted advisor for the 377th Theater Sustainment Command.  He previously served as the Command Sergeant Major for the 108th Training Command (IET). 

CSM Mooso enlisted in the Army in August 1991 and attended basic training and advanced individual training as an infantryman at Fort Benning, Georgia.  His initial assignment was to the 3rd Battalion, 14th Light Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York, where he served as an infantryman and anti-armor specialist. In 1996, he separated from active duty and served in the Louisiana and Florida National Guard for the next five years before enlisting in the Army Reserve in 2001.

CSM Mooso has served in numerous leadership positions throughout his career. These positions include section leader, Alpha Company 3/14th Infantry Regiment; squad leader, Bravo Company 3/124 Infantry Regiment; drill sergeant, 3/323rd Regiment (BCT); senior drill sergeant, 3/485th Regiment (BCT); operations sergeant 1st Division Iraqi National Police Transition Team; first sergeant, Echo Company, 3/485th (INOSUT); senior observer / controller Trainer; 75th Training Command; branch sergeant major, 75th Training Command; command sergeant major, 3/349th Logistics Support Battalion; command sergeant major, 11th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade; command sergeant major, Army Reserve Aviation Command. His military campaigns include Operation Restore Hope, Somalia 1992-1993 and Operation Iraqi Freedom, Iraq 2006-2007.

His military includes all levels of the Noncommissioned Officer Education System. He is a graduate of Air Assault School, Drill Sergeant School, Transition Team Training Course, Battle Staff Non-Commissioned Officers Course, Jungle Operations Training Course, Cold Weather Course, senior enlisted joint professional military education, and DoD Defense Support of Civil Authorities Resident Course. He holds an associate degree in general studies from Northwest Florida State College.

His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (2), Army Commendation Medal (5), Army Achievement Medal (6), Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal (7), National Defense Service Medal (2), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Bronze Star device, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal w/ Silver Hourglass and M device, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (6), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (2), Army Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon (2), Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, Air Assault Badge, Drill Sergeant Badge.

CSM Mooso calls Florida home where he is the Drinking Water Operations Superintendent and Safety Program Coordinator for Destin Water Users.  He and his wife have two children.
