Command Chief Warrant Officer, 7th Mission Support Command

Chief Warrant Officer Five Angela J. Williams was born in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. She graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. She joined the US Army Reserve as a Private on 17 December 1987 as a Unit Supply Specialist. On 3 April 1998, she was appointed as a Reserve Warrant Officer. Chief Williams is a graduate of numerous military courses including the Warrant Officer Candidate Course, Warrant Officer Basic Course, Warrant Officer Quartermaster Advanced Course, Warrant Officer ILE, Warrant Officer SSE, and the Fundamentals of Defense Supply Chain Management Program.

During more than 34 years of active reserve service, Chief Williams served at all echelons from tactical to strategic, with duty in Europe, Iraq, Korea, and the United States. In January 1990, she participated in Exercise REFORGER 90, "Centurion Shield" in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany serving as the area supply sergeant. In September 1990, she deployed to Saudi Arabia in support of OPERATION DESERT SHIELD/DESERT STORM serving as a supply sergeant with the 1st Theater Support Command (formally COSCOM) supporting the XVIII Airborne Corps. In January 2003, she was mobilized with the HHC, 75th Battle Command Training Division in Houston, TX in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM and served as the Executive Officer for the Headquarters. In August 2005, Chief Williams was deployed to Iraq in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM serving as the Supply Support Activity (SSA) Accountable Officer supporting the 10th Mountain Division. Her previous assignments include the 146th Transportation Detachment, Orlando, FL; 199th Forward Support Battalion, Jonesboro, LA (ARNG); 3/383, 75th Training Division, St. Louis, MO; HHC, 75th Training Division, Houston, TX; United States Forces-Korea Support, Honolulu, HI; 322nd Combat Support Company Maintenance, Arden Hills, MN; HHC, 75th Training Command, Houston, TX; HHC, 143rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, Orlando, FL.; 377th TSC, Belle Chasse, LA; HHC, 75th Innovations Command, Houston, TX; and Command Chief Warrant Officer (CWO), 81st Readiness Division, Ft. Jackson, SC.

Chief Williams’ military decorations and awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, the Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M Device, the Army Reserve Component Overseas Training Ribbon, and the Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait).

As a Citizen-Soldier, Chief Williams has held positions as Vice President of Operations, Director of Project Management, and Financial Analyst. Currently she is the Director of Operations for Continental District, Territory Three, for the Office of Information Technology in Veterans Affairs.
