Chief Warrant Officer Four Eric Orlando Duncan enlisted in the Army under the Delayed Entry Program on September 9, 1986, and completed Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training as an Administrative Specialist at Fort Jackson, South Carolia. He was appointed as a warrant officer on September 2, 2004 after graduating from the Warrant Officer Candidate School at Fort Novosel, AL, and earned the title of Human Resources Technician upon graduation from the 420A Warrant Officer Basic Course in 2005. He was born in Calhoun County, SC and currently resides in West Columbia, SC. He graduated from Orangeburg Wilkinson High School in 1985 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Newberry College in Newberry, SC, in 1990. CW4 Duncan currently serves as the Command Chief Warrant Officer for the 81st Readiness Division at Fort Jackson, SC.
CW4 Duncan’s previous warrant officer assignments include: Chief of Personnel Accountability at the 310th Theater Personnel Operations Command (TPOC) located at Fort Jackson, SC; Forward deployed ARCENT G1 Deputy, Strength Reporting Branch, Kuwait; 108th Training Command, 7th Brigade Higher Headquarters Command, G1 Awards Branch OIC, Fort Jackson, SC; 3d MEDCOM Main Command Post, Senior HR Technician G1, Fort Gillem, GA. CW4 Duncan’s prior duty assignments up to the rank of Sergeant First Class include: the 815th Personnel Service Company, Orangeburg, SC; 414th Chemical Detachment, Orangeburg, SC.; 3d Brigade (Higher Headquarters Command), 108th Division (Instructor Training), Fort Jackson, SC.; 416th Theater Engineer Command, ESG South (Satellite), Fort Jackson, SC. CW4 Duncan has also completed a military deployment to Saudi Arabia.
