Brigadier General Williams assumed command of the 7th Mission Support Command on 8 December 2020. The 7th MSC is the only forward stationed U.S. Army Reserve Command in Europe. The Command enables integration at the service, joint, and multinational levels in Europe and is capable of interfacing with NATO Allies and other partners. The Command executes mission command and regional support to all assigned, attached, or supported US Army Reserve forces for the Commander, US Army Europe and provides trained, ready units for mobilization and worldwide deployments.
BG Williams also serves dual-hatted as the Deputy Commanding General of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command. The 21st TSC exercises mission command for strategic and operational sustainment operations across the European Command area of responsibility; executes theater opening, theater distribution, and theater sustainment in support of EUCOM and NATO operations; and, as directed, supports AFRICOM operations in order to enable Allied victory.
BG Williams has served in the U.S. Army for over 33 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from University of Texas El Paso where she was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant on the 13th of May 1989. She also holds Masters Degrees in Accounting from Strayer University, and Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College. She has completed Engineer Officer Basic and Advanced Courses; the Combined Arms and Services Staff School; the United States Army Command and General Staff College; and the United States Army War College.
