Command Sergeant Major, 351st Civil Affairs Command

CSM Price began his military career in the US Army Reserve in 1992 and received General Creighton W. Abrams Award upon graduating from Army Basic Training at Fort Knox, KY. He graduated from Advanced Individual Training as an Intelligence Analyst and Airborne school at Fort Knox, KY and Fort Benning, GA respectively. After completing his initial entry training, CSM Price pursued his higher education and earned a Bachelor of Art and a Master of Business Administration from East Tennessee State University and Excelsior College respectively. CSM Price has been in the military service for over 27 years without a break in service.

CSM Price’s operation assignments include; 353rd Psychological Operations Battalion, Presidio, CA; 278th Armored Calvary Regiment, US Army National Guard, Kingsport, TN; CENTCOM 0108, US Navy Reserve, Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, FL; 360th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne), Fort Jackson, SC; Head Quarters Department of Army G-3/5/7 Operations, Plans, and Training, Special Operation Division, Pentagon, Washington, DC; US CENTCOM Operations Directorate's (CCJ3) Interagency Action Group (IAG) Tampa, FL; 478th Civil Affairs Battalion (Airborne), Miami, FL; 11th Psychological Operations Battalion, Upper Marlboro, MD; 7th Psychological Operations Group, Mountain View, CA; and 351 Civil Affairs Command, Mountain View, CA.

CSM Price’s duties and deployments include; Current Operations NCO (CJ-2), Coalition Joint Civil-Military Operations Task Force, Kabul, Afghanistan (’02-’03); Team Sergeant, Provincial Reconstruction Team, 3rd Brigade-25th Infantry Division, Jalalabad, Afghanistan (’04-’05); and Team Sergeant, 3rd Squadron 3rd Cavalry Regiment -3rd Infantry Division and Team Leader 6th Squadron, 8th Cavalry Regiment -3rd Infantry Division, Jisr Diyala and Hawr Rajab, Iraq.

CSM Price’s civilian and military education includes: Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a minor in Marketing, East Tennessee State University; Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership, Excelsior College; Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, United States Army First Sergeant Course, and Sergeant Major Course.

CSM Price is a Triathlon athlete and competed in more than 25 races. In 2018, he accomplished to be in the top 5% of male athletes in his age group in the World’s ranking. He achieved his personal best race time in IRONMAN North Carolina, consisting of 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride, and 13.1 mile run, recording 5:21. He works at Defense Logistics Agency as a Management and Program Analyst. CSM Price is married to Angela Price and resides in Lorton, Virginia.
