First Sergeant Michael R. Gallucci was born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He enlisted in the United States Army in June 2001 and attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He then attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, where he was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty of 42A, Human Resources Specialist.

He has served in various assignments and positions to include the 464th Chemical Brigade, Johnstown, Pennsylvania; 220th Military Police Brigade, Gaithersburg, Maryland; Human Resource NCO for the 485th Chemical Battalion, Newark, Delaware; Observer Controller Trainer for Detainee Operations and Weapons Instructor for the 2/312th Training Support Battalion, Fort Dix, New Jersey; Small Group Leader, Senior Small Group Leader and Operations NCO for the NCO Academy, Fort Dix, New Jersey; Senior Human Resource NCO for the North Central Cyber Protection Center, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania; and Master Fitness Trainer Course Manager, NCO Academy, Fort Dix, New Jersey. He currently serves as the First Sergeant for the U.S. Army NCO Academy, Fort Dix, New Jersey. 

1SG Gallucci’s military education includes: Warrior Leader Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, Battle Staff NCO Course, Small Group Instructor Training Course, Army Basic Instructor Course, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Master Fitness Trainer Instructor Course, Master Resilience Trainer Course, Air Assault Course, Biometrics Operations Specialist Course, Senior Enlisted Joint Professional Military Education I & II, Observer Controller Trainer Course, Combat Lifesaver Course, Combatives Level 1 Course, Field Sanitation Course, USAR Unit Pay Administration Course, and Company Commanders and First Sergeant Course.  

He’s currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Columbia Southern University. 1SG Gallucci is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator, and holds a certification as a Pose Running Coach.

1SG Gallucci is married to the former Rosalba Guerrero of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and are proud parents of Michael Jr., Bella and Reina Gallucci. They are all active members of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church community.
