Sergeant Major Leah R. Mariano assumed her duties as the Deputy Commandant on March 4, 2019. In her previous position, she was assigned as the Operations Sergeant with the Headquarters, 646th Regional Support Group in Madison, Wisconsin.
Sergeant Major Mariano enlisted into the United States Army on April 6, 2000 from Honolulu, Hawaii and completed her Basic and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. She has served in a variety of positions in the Active Guard and Reserve program since April 2003.
