Mr. Christopher Arne began his association with the Army when he enlisted in the Washington Army National Guard as an infantry Soldier in 1989. He then served on active duty as a Combat Medic from 1992 to 1998. He attended Michigan State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Medical Technology and was commissioned as a Field Artillery Officer and Distinguished Military Graduate.
Mr. Arne entered Government Civilian Service in May of 2012 as the Battalion Supervisory Staff Administrator for the 440th Civil Affairs Battalion located at Fort Carson, CO. He accepted the position as the 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support) Command Executive Officer in July of 2017.
A native of Bainbridge Island, WA, Mr. Arne holds a graduate certificate in Stability, Security and Development in Complex Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School. He is an MBA candidate at Utah State University and is also pursuing a Master’s in International Relations from Troy University.
As a drilling Army Reservist, LTC Arne is the Civil Affairs Planning Team (CAPT) Operations Officer for the 364th Civil Affairs Brigade. He is married to the former Kimberly Belland of Lowell, MI, and the proud father of two children. They currently reside in Farmington, Utah.
