Dr. Guy Sands-Pingot

Dr. Guy Sands-Pingot was selected for the Senior Executive Service in May 2010 following his service as the Assistant Inspector General for Inspections and Strategic Planning for the Office of the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction from December 2008 through May 2010. He followed that assignment as Deputy to the Commander of US Army North, Fort Sam Houston, Texas until he assumed his next position as Principal Deputy, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Logistics, G 3/4, Headquarters, Army Material Command in July 2011 which he served in until he assumed his current position as Director, Human Capital (OCAR/USARC) in March 2014. In his current position he exercises leadership and policy responsibility for developing and executing strategic level human capital policies, plans, programs, personnel management, recruiting and retention, strength accountability, and readiness for the Army Reserve as well as executive oversight over personnel activities that the Army Reserve conducts with major subordinate command headquarters, external agencies and other organizations.
