CW5 Conrad was born in the state of California. He enlisted in the United States Army as a private, (E-1) in July 1983 and transitioned to the Army Reserve in 1986. CW5 Conrad moved to Elizabethtown, KY with his family in 2009 making the state of Kentucky his current residence.
