Brigadier General Michael Shanley

Brigadier General Michael Shanley assumed the duties of Commanding General, 85th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command, headquartered in Arlington Heights, Illinois on 7 June 2024. He was born in Passaic, New Jersey. He entered the U.S. Army in 1996 and was commissioned in the Military Police Corps.

He is also a Certified Defense Financial Manager with Acquisition specialty (CDFM-A) and has earned a Level 3 Defense Financial Management Certification (DFMC3).
