Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Kelly M. Largent started his military career with the Texas Army National Guard on May 9, 1987 and has held every leadership role in his 29-year career with the Regular Army, Army Reserve and the National Guard. He has worked for the Department of the Army as a civilian for the last 23 years. CSM Largent was selected for appointment as the Command Sergeant Major of the 63rd Regional Support Command on Decemer 17, 2016.

CSM Largent has completed all levels of Non-Commissioned Officer Education System (NCOES) courses to include the First Sergeants Course and Sergeants Major Academy and Self-Structured Development (SSD)V.

CSM Largent’s military awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Commendation Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Good Conduct Medal W/3 Knots, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Afgahnistan Campaign Medal with 1 Bronze Star, NCO Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 4 affixed, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Reserve Component Overseas Training Ribbon with the numeral 2, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with Bronze Hour Glass and “M” Device with Numeral 2 affixed, Kuwait Liberation Medal – Government of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait Liberation Medal – Kuwait, Former Wartime Service (FWTS) Badge, Drill Sergeant Badge, Career Counselor Badge, Drivers Badge Wheel and Track, Air Assault Badge. Unit Awards, Army Meritorious Unit Commendation and Army Unit Superior Award. Foreign Award is the Gold German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge. In 1999, he was selected as the 95th Division Army NCO of the Year. He is a lifetime member of the prestigious SSG Audie Murphy Club.

CSM Largent is married to Kim Largent and together they have four children: two boys Jeremy and Kyle and two girls Brittany and Kelsey, ranging from 18 to 29 years of age. They also have two grand children, a 3 year old grandson, “Lane” and an 8 y
ear old Granddaughter, “Alannah.”
