Army Reserve Ambassador Daniel J. MacLaughlin is vice president of the Board of Directors at the Wyndham Grand Desert Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has responsibilities and oversight on a budget of approximately 34 million dollars. He is a retired Station Commander of the New York State Police, his last duty station was in Jamestown, New York. Ambassador MacLaughlin is the former mayor of Randolph, New York where he had responsibility for 15 employees and a budget of approximately 1.4 million dollars. He has an associate of arts degree in criminal justice from Jamestown Community College and a bachelors of science degree in criminal justice administration from the State University of New York, Empire State College.  As a retired Chief Warrant Officer 5, his last position was command Chief Warrant Officer for the 99th Regional Support Command at Fort Dix, New Jersey.
