Army Reserve Ambassador David T. Mitchell, Jr., is a retired chemical/environmental engineer who has worked more than 24 years in the chemical and natural gas industries. He is retired from Tenneco Gas Pipeline Company and Dow Chemical Company. Mr. Mitchell is a volunteer with the West Virginia Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Committee. Ambassador Mitchell is on the Advisory Board, Chemical Engineering Department of West Virginia University Institute of Technology. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, ROA, MOAA, and AUSA. Ambassador Mitchell served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves for over 38 years, retiring with the rank of Colonel. He is a lifetime member of the Reserve Officers Association, Chemical Corps Regimental Association, Ordnance Corps Regimental Association, Association of US Army, and the U.S. Army War College Alumni Association.
