Steven M. Baer is currently Chief Logistics Officer for First Supply LLC which is based in Madison, Wisconsin. He has been working in various leadership positions within operations at several small, medium, and large companies for the last 30+ years. At his previous employer, he founded a global employee resource group for Veterans, called the Veterans Alliance, and conducted multiple Veteran-focused programs within the company each year.

He is a Distinguished Military Graduate of the US Army R.O.T.C. program and was a three-year scholarship recipient. He completed the Finance Officer Basic Course and the U.S. Army Airborne School. During his annual training exercises at Fort Bragg, NC, with the 82nd Airborne, he consistently received “top block” evaluations.

Baer is passionate about the mission of the U.S. Army and the Reserve. He comes from a distinguished military family; his father is Col. (Ret.) Barry S. Baer, U.S. Army, who served in Vietnam, Panama, and Kuwait during his 26 ½ year career, and his late grandfather is Lt. Col. (Ret.) Harvey E. Baer, U.S. Air Force, who served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam during his 20+ year career.
