Their efforts ensured the timely offloading, processing, staging, and onward movement of U.S. military equipment essential to follow on exercises across Europe. DEFENDER, U.S. Army Europe - Africa's largest annual training event, is a three-phase exercise, designed to demonstrate the ability of U.S. forces to rapidly deploy in support of ally and partner nations.
