The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. Medical Support Unit - Europe Participates in Allied Spirit
Soldiers with Medical Support Unit - Europe, the German Forces Joint Medical Service and 30th Medical Brigade practice assessment of internal bleeding during Exercise Allied Spirit in Hohenfels, Germany, Mar. 14, 2024. This multinational training exercise gathered medical units from the U.S. Army Reserve, the 30th Medical Brigade, and German partners to provide NATO Role 2B field operational capabilities including evacuation, triage and resuscitation, treatment and holding of patients until they can be returned to duty or evacuated, emergency dental treatment, emergency surgery and essential post-operative management. The 7th Mission Support Command is the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe. Comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy, the 7th MSC provides logistics and sustainment resources in support of U.S. Army Europe and Africa missions across the theater.
