642nd Regional Support Group change of command ceremony
U.S. Army Col. Christian M. Neary, incoming commander of the 642nd Regional Support Group, leads the May 26, 2022, change of command ceremony at Fort Hood, Texas. Neary took charge of the Reserve unit from outgoing commander Col. Robert J. Coker. The 642nd Regional Support Group currently conducts the duties of the Mobilization Support Brigade supporting the mobilization and demobilization of Reserve and National Guard units from throughout the nation. Maj. Gen. Susan Henderson, commanding general of the 377th Theatre Support Command, oversaw the ceremony. The 642nd Regional Support Group is based in Decatur, Ga.
