The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. U.S. Army Capt. Hayes McDowell, commander of the 461st Human Resources Company, speaks at a June 13, 2021, memorial for Spc. Hunter C. Dill at the Reserve Center in Decatur, Ga. Speakers with the 461st Human Resources Company, the 642nd Regional Support Group and the 143rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) honored Dill's service and shared memories about the young Soldier who was killed in a March automobile crash. Dill, a South Carolina native who enlisted in 2018, was a human resources specialist with the 461st HRC.
