BioFire testing keeps deployed Service members safe
792nd Medical Detachment (Preventive Medicine) lab personnel, continue to develop infectious disease outbreak surveillance capabilities to monitor and mitigate health threats to deployed Service members and civilians. Utilizing BioFire test results, these Soldiers use a syndromic approach to accurately detect and identify the pathogens most commonly associated with respiratory infections. Fast and comprehensive results enable high efficiency test results enabling better-informed prevention, diagnosis and treatment of deployed Service members.
