The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise
A Soldier from the U.S. Army Reserve 380th Quartermaster Battalion verifies the fuel level on a tanker truck as part of the annual Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise. NAVSUP FLC Norfolk Fuels department is working with these soldiers during the exercise, loading fuel into the tankers at Defense Fuel Support Point Craney Island. The purpose of the exercise is to ensure that Army fuel equipment and personnel are ready to transport bulk fuel over land in a contingency.
