The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. Fort McCoy community tackles serious issues with April awareness months
Family Advocacy Program Manager Jen Morris with the Army Community Service office of the Fort McCoy Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation discusses the installation's observance of Child Abuse Prevention Month as part of a video April 1, 2021, at Fort McCoy, Wis. Morris asks everyone to help prevent child abuse and to do their part every day of the year. Morris was part of a live, virtual event that unveiled specific proclamations for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Alcohol Awareness Month, Autism Awareness Month, and Child Abuse Prevention Month.
