The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. Army Reserve doctor looks back at Camp Afijan tour, vaccines, ambassador's thanks
Army Reserve Lt. Col. Frank Vazzana, a Tampa, Florida-area physician, deployed to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, with the 310th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) served as the command surgeon for the 1st Theater Sustainment Command's operational command post. Vazzana said the Soldiers and other personnel at the camp received excellent medical care and by the end of April 2021, everyone who wants a COVID-19 vaccine can get one.
