The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. ADAPT and overcome
U.S. Army Reserve Col. Bradford L. Hughes, Functional Specialty Team (FxSP) Chief for the 351st Civil Affairs Command out of Mountain View, California, observes a parcel of the Fresno State farm in preparation for Armed Forces Pre-Deployment Training (ADAPT) where over 130 attendies took part in an ADAPT familiarization event coordinated between the 351st CACOM FxSP program and the Jordan College of Agriculture at Fresno State University, Fresno, CA, 9 Jan., 2021, including personnel from U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, U.S. Army Pacific, the 9th Mission Support Command and it’s 322nd Civil Affairs Brigade, and units under the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) footprint, including the 350th Civil Affairs Command, the 351st Civil Affairs Command, the 352nd Civil Affairs Command, and the 353rd Civil Affairs Command. ADAPT training is an integral part of 38G(6U), Civil Affairs training to prepare Soldiers to perform international rural development missions while deployed.
