The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. Army Reserve Soldier cooks for holistic readiness

Alexis Holfetlz with the 1-158th Aviation Regiment, 11th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, Army Reserve Aviation Command, Conroe, Texas, and Staff Sgt. Patrick Brady with the 1158th Army Aviation Reserve Command in Fort Knox, Kentucky, prepare ingredients for the Joint Culinary Training Exercise. The 45th annual JCTE started March 4 at Fort Lee MacLaughlin Fitness Center and continues until March 13. The exercise, administered by the Joint Culinary Center of Excellence, is the largest American Culinary Federation-sanctioned competition in North America.
