The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. Building things in Karliki
U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. Ashton Clark, a petroleum services specialist from Helena, Montana, serving with the 652nd Regional Support Group in Karliki, Poland, applies stain to a part of a pedestal for holding communications equipment for the base. The stands were one of several improvements to the base made by Clark and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Matthew Anderson, also with the 652nd, the mayor of, and other half of the Karliki base camp mayor cell team during the roughly three months they have been in Poland.
