The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. Army Reserve Soldiers attend German National Day of Remembrance event
Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert, addresses a crowd of more than 100 people from the local German-American community along with Army Reserve Soldiers from the 76th Operational Response Command during the German National Day of Remembrance ceremony at the Fort Douglas Cemetery in Salt Lake City, Utah November 18. The annual event has been held since 1977 and pays tribute to the 41 German prisoners of war who are buried at the cemetery.
