The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. The Road to Awesome: Strong Beginnings starts at the 99th DIV(R)
A U.S. Army Reserve Soldier performs an eye exam during a Soldier Readiness Improvement Program event held at the Joint Readiness Center on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Sept. 22. During this particular event the SIRP team completed or verified over 649 services for the Soldiers in attendance. These 649 services only included medical services, Soldiers had access to personnel, on site lawyers, chaplains and retention services.
