The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. 2018 Army Reserve Best Warrior: Obstacle Course
A 98th Training Division (Initial Entry Training) drill sergeant watches Sgt. Camille Edward, a healthcare specialist with 352nd Combat Support Hospital, 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support), manuever an obstacle at the 2018 U.S. Army Reserve Command's Best Warrior Competition in Fort Bragg, North Carolina June 10-15. More than 35 Soldiers representing seven Geographic Commands and 22 Functional Commands, will spend the week competing in a variety of challenges including firing weapons, land navigation, the Army Physical Fitness Test, and various mystery events.
