The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. First ever Sabot Academy helps prepare Reserve Soldiers for challenging master gunnery course
Army Reserve Staff Sgt. Bn., 76th ORC in reassembling a M2 .50-caliber machine gun at the first ever Sabot Academy in White Settlement, Texas May 19. The four-day academy covers a variety of basic and advanced gunnery skills and knowledge, and is designed to better prepare students for the extremely challenging master gunnery common core course at Fort Benning, Georgia.
