The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. With Honor and Hospitality: 143d ESC supports Military Appreciation Weekend at Westgate Resort
U.S. Army Spc. Mario J. Casatelli, Jr., culinary specialist, Mission Support Element, Headquarters & Headquarters Company, 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), places an Advanced Combat Helmet on a boy seated in the driver’s seat of a Humvee on display May 4, 2018, at the second annual Military Appreciation Concert at Westgate Resort in Kissimmee, Fla. Casatelli, a native of New York City, joined three Soldiers to represent the 143d ESC and America’s Army Reserve during this free concert that attracted thousands of veterans, civic leaders, community partners and their family members. Westgate Resorts invited the 143d ESC to the concert to help connect the local community with more than 1,500 military families who accepted an invitation from Westgate Resorts’ CEO David Siegel for a complimentary, three-night stay at his Kissimmee property.
