Army Reserve Soldier battles, wins cancer fight
Sgt. Wright was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called nasopharyngeal cancer on Oct. 25, 2017. Nasopharyngeal cancer is a cancer that starts in the nasopharynx, the upper part of the throat behind the nose and near the base of skull. The nasopharynx is the upper part of the throat that lies behind the nose. In most parts of the world, including the United States, there is less than one case of nasopharyngeal cancer for every 100,000 people each year. (U.S. Army Photo by Maj.
