The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. Combined Best Warrior and Drill Sergeant of the Year Competitions
U.S. Army Reserve Spc. Morgan Hopkins, U.S. Army Reserve Aviation Command, and Sgt. Devin Crawford, 95th Training Division (IET)/108th Training Command, scan the terrain during tactical air movement while competing in the 2018 Combined Best Warrior and Drill Sergeant of the Year Competitions at Fort Knox, Kentucky April 9-13. Eight U.S. Army Reserve Commands combined resources to not only be efficient, but to provide the competitors a more challenging competition. The commands involved were: 84th Training Command, 108th Training Command, 88th Readiness Division, 81st Readiness Division, 63rd Readiness Division, U.S. Army Reserve Aviation Command, U.S. Army Reserve Careers Division, and the U.S. Army Reserve Military Intelligence Command.
