The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. Army Reserve leader speaks on celebrating our veterans
Army Reserve Lt. Col. Priscilla Van Zanten, left, 85th Support Command, receives a hug from her eldest daughter, Brianna, at a Veteran’s Day ceremony in Buffalo Grove on Nov. 11, 2017. A majority of Van Zanten’s family attended the ceremony to support her as she spoke in front of nearly 200 people about the history of Veteran’s Day, the changing Army Reserve, and the importance of supporting those who have served and continue to serve our country.
