The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. 80th Training Command 100th Anniversary Cake
The 80th Training Command kicks off its 100th anniversary with the 80th's change of command ceremony at Fort Lee, Virginia, Sept. 17, 2017. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the U.S. Army Quartermaster Museum where a 100th anniversary cake was served. Written across the cake is the 80th's motto "Only Moves Forward."
