The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. CG Freedom Rock Speech
Major Gen. Patrick Reinert, the commanding general of the 88th Regional Support Command, speaks to the more than 200 people gathered at the Cherokee County, Iowa courthouse for a dedication ceremony for the Freedom Rock Tour that is in honor of the veterans of Cherokee County, September 10. Reinert is a native of Cherokee County, Iowa, and currently commands the 88th RSC, which provides base operations support for U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers, families and facilities across 19 states, of which Iowa is one.
