Army Reserve unit conducts command-wide fiscal readiness training
Mr. Kevin Greene, center, Staff Operations and Training Officer, 85th Support Command, discusses various pots of training funds during the 85th Support Command’s four-day Fund Manager training brief at the command headquarters, Jan. 30 – Feb. 2, 2017. The training focused on understanding G8 processes and operations with the intent of integrating newly assigned Fund Managers and taking the training back to Army Reserve battalions assigned to First Army brigades. Several topics discussed across the four-day period included funding guidance, WBPAC, spend plans, phase plans, FM overview, Defense Travel System, Unit Administrator operations, and group orders.
