The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. Army Reserve leader pays tribute to New Jersey veterans
Maj. Gen. Troy D. Kok, commanding general of the U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Regional Support Command headquartered at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, meets with Jane M. Underkofler, an Air Force first lieutenant who served as a registered nurse, during a Jan. 28 visit to the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs’ Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland, New Jersey. The purpose of Kok’s visit was to thank veterans for their service and encourage young Soldiers to spend time with veterans in their local area.
