The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. Lt. Gen. Luckey tours USAR boating capabilities
U.S. Army Reserve Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Charles D. Luckey, visits USAR vessels and Soldiers with the 481st Transportation Company Detachment 5, at Kuwait Naval Base, Kuwait, on Jan. 10, 2017. Luckey came to Kuwait to speak with Soldiers about the capabilities, need and importance of their missions overseas. The 411th TC Det. 5 mission while deployed is to provide logistics transportation support to the 316th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), a USAR unit from Coraopolis PA. The 316th ESC mission in Kuwait is to support the 1st Sustainment Command (Theater) mission of providing logistics support throughout the U.S. Central Command area of operations.
