AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from the 983rd Engineering Battalion performed their annual training July18-Aug. 14 at Crane Army Ammunition Activity. An aspect of their hands on training was renovating two ammunition storage facilities by placing siding and a secure entrance on the existing structure. On this project Soldiers had the opportunity to work with material handling equipment provided by Crane Army, as well as an opportunity to work with heavy construction equipment that the 983rd supplied. The projects improved CAAA’s infrastructure while at the same time provided Soldiers with valuable training.
