Dignity, Reverence, Respect: U.S. Army Reserve Mortuary Affairs specialists care for America's fallen heroes
The chain of custody continues at the Theater Mortuary Evacuation Point manned by U.S. Army Reserve soldiers with the 387th Quartermaster Company (Mortuary Affairs), based in Los Angeles, during Mortuary Affairs Exercise 16-02, July 22, at Fort Pickett, Va. MAX 16-02 included all six U.S. Army Reserve Mortuary Affairs units performing search and recovery missions and operating Mortuary Affairs Collection Points and a Theater Mortuary Evacuation Point.
