The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. 1207th USAH 2016 Innovative Readiness Training in South Dakota
LOWER BRULE, S.D.—Spc. Jesus Ortiz, a behavioral health specialist from the Army Reserve 7239th Medical Support Unit based in Chattanooga, Tenn., plays football with local kids from the Lower Brule Indian Reservation located 61 miles south of Pierre, S.D. July 19, 2016. Ortiz visited the Boys and Girls Club there during an Innovative Readiness Training mission on the reservation.
