The U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division hosted a Yellow Ribbon event Sept. 12-14 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown. Rev. Dr. Paul V. McCullough III, Army Reserve Ambassador for Pennsylvania, served as keynote speaker for the event. Yellow Ribbon events span the deployment cycle - pre-deployment prep, mid-tour virtual check-ins and post-deployment reintegration - to connect families with vital resources, all backed by the program’s emphasis on family well-being. 1207th USAH 2016 Innovative Readiness Training in South Dakota
LOWER BRULE RESERVATION– U.S. Army Reserve Soldier Sgt. Jennifer Kunsch, a dental assistant with the 7233rd Medical Support Unit, plays jump rope with local children outside of the Boys and Girls Club in Lower Brule, an Indian Reservation, 60 miles southeast of Pierre, S.D., on July 19, 2016. Earlier that morning, Sgt. Kunsch discussed oral hygiene with several children at the Boys and Girls Club, as part of the 1207th U.S. Army Hospital’s Innovation Readiness Training event.
